Lawrence Hess Lawrence Hess, born in Texas, having traveled many places in the world, settled in the Ozark mountains of Arkansas, developed a lifelong interest in capturing a moment in time, all the while proclaiming a recital from God's word that life is but a vapor, that appeareth for a while, then vanishes away.
